Dorothy Paddick

Dorothy Laverene Paddick, 74, of Noodle, TX passed away on February 14, 2024 in Lubbock, TX.

Dorothy was born in Haskell, TX to Sidney and Carolyn “Luree” Flowers on July 28, 1949.

She went to school at Noodle High School. She married Gene “Allen” Paddick on July 5, 1989 in Atoka, OK. She worked as a nurse for 25 years, doing home health nursing and working at the Merkel Nursing Center before she retired. 

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Gene “Allen” Paddick, her parents Sidney and Luree Flowers, her brother Truman Flowers, and her sister Velma Long.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter Valuree Hood, her husband Jonathan and their two children Joshua and Abbi. She is also survived by William Hoisington and his two children Franky Hoisington and Holly Conner, her fiancé Brandon Scifres and their two children Zoey and Lucas Scifres. . 

Graveside services will be held 10 am, February 17, 2024 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Merkel, TX with Stanley Trammell, officiating. Services are under the direction of Starbuck Family Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given to The Wounded Warriors Project, The Lubbock Home for Children, or any charity of your choosing.
